My First Wedding Photo Coverage

Me taking a picture of myself in a mirror

Photography became my hobby last August of this year, I don’t have schooling, lessons or seminars, I learn photography from my own personal experience and I am still learning. Today is my first time to be a wedding photographer, as they say you should get at least a professional photographer since wedding is a once in a life time event in a person’s life.

True! Yet, I understand kuya RC’s situation where-in he cannot afford to have a professional photographer to cover in their big Wedding Day. Instead he ask for help among his students and friends to cover for his wedding day.

I was instructed to cover for the Bride, oh ho, bride is the most difficult part to cover during wedding, why? You must be on the site early to shoot for the brides every activity from preparation to ceremony.

Being a wedding photographer is very challenging; you must be creative in all shot you’re taking, which I’m still working on my creative skills. Like what I always do, take as much as possible shots and don’t delete them, why? Because later, you will be thankful because you have that picture so you can crop and be creative.

Right now, I have around  2000+ pictures in my Freecom external hard disk, and I’m still editing my pictures from my camera alone, and there’s more that 400 at Fog’s camera. Editing really takes time, and I don’t know how long the editing will be, but my focus is to make the most out of the picture.

I’ll be posting a sample of my picture; I want to hear from you, if you are a professional photographer, I am begging to comment from my picture! Please! I need it ;)

You should have told me that you need some help. :D
I could have given you some insights or even be there to lend some technical hand. :D

But at least your first experience with a wedding photography is a real one unlike some other starters they usually begin by being a side-kick or a back-up photographer only. :D

And yes! The bride is one of the most difficult part in a wedding since she has a lot of accessories and you have to steel some good shots before her make-up fades away that is if she has a on-sight make-up artist.

But i bet your shots are great! You have a lot of potential bed. Keep it up!
